Camp Syncro '23Our "Camp Syncro" base camp for Lassen '23 occupied the Group Sites area of Butte Lake Campground. We reserved three group sites, sufficient for our 13 Syncros and well over 20 people.

The campground is a 45-minute drive from the Northwest Entrance and Manzanita Lake Area and is accessed via the 6-mile-long Butte Lake Road south of highway 44. This remote campground offers few amenities, but numerous recreation opportunities. Enjoy a hike up Cinder Cone or a paddle along Butte Lake's lava rock shores. Reservations are available for most sites and required for group sites and the stock corral. Campsite Information This campground has a number of individual sites as well as several group sites. We have reserved three of the group sites for our base camp. |
