Syncro Safari, Pacific Coast '11 is now completed!  We had 10 vans, 23 people and a lot of fun!  More news later.

I'm happy to announce that GoWesty will provide sponsorship for Syncro Safari, Pacific Coast '11 by providing a variety of items for our raffle.  GoWesty has been a supplier and a good advocate for the Vanagon and Syncro communities over the years and it's great to see them giving back to our little niche of the community in a fun way such as this.

Also, on Tuesday morning, Aug 16th as the Syncro Safari caravan make its way north up the Caifornia Coast, we'll be stopping by GoWesty for a short tour and continental breakfast.  Should be a fun time having an interesting peak behind the curtain to see their operation and facilities.

Well, we filled the first cancelled spot and I'm excited to welcome Mark & Anne Drillock to the trip. 

However, Serge, Claire & Ophelie from Albreta won't be making the trip.  Seems the restoration is taking longer than planned.  Maybe if Serge were a little less of a perfectionist...  :-)

So, there's still an open spot and Safari is less than 2 weeks away.  Time to start planning Taco Night!
