June 30 to July 6th we were in North-Central Idaho near the path of Lewis & Clark's crossing of the Bitterroot Mountains in their expedition of 1804-1806. We camped on the Lochsa River, near the Selway River, both designated "Wild & Scenic". We'll took rempote routes to a few spots where Lewis & Clark trekked and camped during their struggle to get across these mountains. Along with river rafting, a parade and other scenic places nearby, this trip was fun as well as rich in history and scenery.

More sites along the Lewis & Clark trail on the western side of the Bitterroots where they were finally able to leave the mountains behind and get aid from the Nez Perce tribe. Included a lunch at beautiful Lewis & Clark Grove.
Syncro Safari provided a fleet of 10 Syncros to participate in the Grangeville, ID 4th of July parade. Great fun showing off our Syncros for a few thousand spectators! Is this a first for a Syncro group in a parade?
Today's trip included a section in the eastern region of the Lewis & Clark Trail in the Bitterroot Mountains including a stop at Colt Killed Camp, Bear Oil & Roots Camp and Indian Post Office. Found: 1 abandoned snowmobile. Repaired: 1 radiator fan resistor.
Took a river rafting float trip down the lower Lochsa and Middle Fork of the Clearwater River. Three rafts, three guides and lunch provided by ROW Adventures! Great fun - we should do this at all Syncro Safaris!
Today's trip: Up the Selway River to Selway Falls, then up to Fog Mountain for a trail ride and view of Selway Crags. Discovered that Fog Mountain is named for the fog of bugs there! :-)
