June 30 to July 6th we were in North-Central Idaho near the path of Lewis & Clark's crossing of the Bitterroot Mountains in their expedition of 1804-1806. We camped on the Lochsa River, near the Selway River, both designated "Wild & Scenic". We'll took rempote routes to a few spots where Lewis & Clark trekked and camped during their struggle to get across these mountains. Along with river rafting, a parade and other scenic places nearby, this trip was fun as well as rich in history and scenery.
